Journals
Best-set has two teams of in-house copy-editors, one based in Guangzhou, southern China and the other in Manila, the Philippines. To enhance familiarity with styling requirements, small groups of copy-editors are allocated to particular journals and publishers.

Books
Toppan Best-set’s Project Managers are based in the UK and USA. Because bookwork tends to be more individual and unpredictable in content and timing than journals, our Project Managers prefer to use established freelance copy-editors in the UK and USA. This also allows Project Managers to match subject matter to the skill sets of particular copy-editors. We will listen to your copy-editing requirements and aim to match those with the skills available in our own teams of copy-editors and the skills of freelance workers.
